On-Call Order Selector
The Order Selector position is an On-Call position with no guarantee of hours. You must be able to work any shift. There is no set schedule. Your days/shifts change according to need. Hours drop significantly during the winter months. Once you gain seniority, you may then receive a set schedule or “bid”.
This is a fast paced
physical environment. As an Order Selector you will be moving
approximately 4800#’s of product per hour, processing orders and getting them
palletized for delivery. This is the employee doing the lifting and
moving, not a forklift or pallet jack.
This position starts at
$14.08 with the benefits outlined below.
BENEFITS FOR ORDER SELECTOR:
Medical/Dental/Vision/Prescription
Drug
Eligibility begins after 4 months of 80 hours per month for medical. Eligibility begins after 5 months of 80 hours per month for Dental and Vision. URM pays 100% of the premium for employee, spouse and dependants. The current value of the benefit equates to $4.24 per hour.
Disability Insurance
URM pays 100% for disability insurance. This benefit provides $150/week from the 1st day of disability due to an accident and from the 8th day due to sickness. Payments continue up to a maximum of 26 weeks.
Life Insurance
URM pays 100% for life insurance. This benefit provides $5000.00 worth of coverage.
URM contributes $4.30 per
hour for all straight time worked or compensated.
Employees have the availability to purchase their groceries at member cost either right of the shelf at the Cash & Carry Store or in case quantities from the warehouse.
